Prostate cancer is the most common malignancy in Massachusetts, with a higher mortality rate than breast cancer. The Massachusetts House and Senate have approved a new education and awareness program trying to change that. Doctor Faina Shtern from AdmeTech Foundation joined NECN with details. She said the approval will bring the knowledge and technology from world-leading institutions to every health care provider in the state. She said she believes it will put Massachusetts in the leadership position of dealing with prostate cancer.
