GOAL:
Improving access to high quality care for underserved and vulnerable men, who are at a higher risk of prostate cancer and its adverse outcomes. High-risk men include individuals aged 40 years and older with African American, Hispanic and Latino heritage and family history of prostate cancer.
WHAT THIS PROGRAM OFFERS:
Matching your individual needs with leading Massachusetts prostate cancer experts, who have the most advanced available screening, diagnostic and therapeutic resources.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:
Any high-risk man residing in Massachusetts, who is interested in consulting a prostate cancer expert to address every aspect of his prostate health. This consultation may include a visit for an initial evaluation or a second opinion.
YOU WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
- If you are not sure prostate cancer screening is right for you and seeking more information
- If you had screening already and have questions about your results and the appropriate next steps
- If you have been recommended an invasive biopsy and seeking more information about the related options
- If you have family history of prostate cancer and have questions about genetic counseling and/or testing
- If you were diagnosed with prostate cancer and would like to learn more about treatment options
- If you experience complications after biopsy or treatment
- If after treatment, you have questions about the next steps, including prevention or early diagnosis of cancer return or progression

- In-person appointments.
