We All Agree 2015:
New Video Features Massachusetts Governor, Democratic and Republican Legislative Leaders Calling for Prostate Cancer Awareness
BOSTON, MA, April 15, 2015—
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and nine leading legislators appear together in a bipartisan video, “We All Agree 2015,” which was released today by the non-profit AdMeTech Foundation, in advance of the 7th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Day at the State House on April 16.
In the video, Governor Baker and leading Republican and Democratic legislators in the House and Senate call on Massachusetts to lead the fight against this most common major cancer and health care disparity. This is the third in a series of “We All Agree” videos — which have featured Larry Lucchino earlier this week and gubernatorial candidates last year— dedicated to creating a Massachusetts model of national leadership in prostate cancer awareness and education.
This new video features Governor Baker with Senate Majority Leader Harriette Chandler (D-Worcester), Representative Russell Holmes (D-Boston), Representative Stephen Kulik (D-Worthington), House Minority Leader Bradley Jones, Jr. (R-North Reading), House Majority Leader Ronald Mariano (D-Quincy), Representative Jeffrey Sanchez (D-Jamaica Plain), Senate Ways and Means Chair Karen Spilka (D-Ashland), Representative Benjamin Swan (D-Springfield), and Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr (R-Gloucester), all of whom, despite their party differences, voice their support for bringing cutting-edge advances in prostate cancer early detection and treatment from Massachusetts world-leading hospitals to every man.
